The Warehouse Project

What an amazing night this was. Sunday 27th December in Manchester at The Warehouse Project with my two best friends and the worlds number 1 DJ. Words can't describe how I felt when David Guetta played his first track. His music is amazing! His light show was amazing. The atmosphere was amazing.

We were at the very front against the metal railing, you couldn't mve if you wanted to, I had enough room to throw my arms in the air and jump. I've never been to a propper udgerground rave before, but after Sunday I'd recommoend that every one should go to one at least once a year!!! The atmosphere is truly amazing and to stand at the front and turn around to see every one with their arms raised and singing to David Guetta's tracks you can't help but smile and rave even harder. It must be an amazing feeling to be the DJ on stage loking out at your fans looking at you!

I've already put a diary date in for next years Warehouse Project.

Hey guys. Rehearsals are under way for the above pantomime where I shall be gracing the stage as a posh, evil Snow White. As I write I'm practicing my pout and evil eyes for the part. It promises to be a fun night that involves all the Disney princesses (with a new unique take on their characters) a genie, fairy god mother, lots of camp dancing and even some vampires! This is a panto that's not to be missed!

Saturday Night Update

Well...I had a very interesting and fun Saturday night which resulted in me staying out until 6.25 am. I love nights like that, when you go out not expecting any thing out of the blue to happen, but it does.

I got to talk to some very interesting people and stayed out long enough to have a McDonald's breakfast...YUMMY!

Every one should have a P.I.C (partner in crime).

And then when I woke up Sunday afternoon I applied to audition for Andrew Lloyd Webber's A Search For Dorothy...I'll let you know if I get an audition...fingers crossed.

Sleepless Nights

So...It's 1.19 am and I have to be up in a few hours. I can't sleep and felt the urge to write. I'm not sure what I want to write about right now and wish I still kept a diary so I could just write down a bunch of nonsense. However that's not the case so instead I'm going to write down some of hopes and dreams.

After spending the evening watching episode after episode of CSI with my family I realised just how much I hope and want to be a part of something like that. Acting has completely taken over my life recently and it's what I live for. Every spare minute I have is now spent learning lines and reading plays. Oscar Wilde is an amazing playwright and every time I read one of his plays it really seems to stick with me...Please bare in mind it's very late/early and what I write might not make much sense! ...I want to be a part of something like CSI or House or Lost or Flash Forward or Gossip Girl...You get the picture! These TV shows matter to people and I want to matter to some one. I want to be remembered for the work I do as an actress. I just need a chance to show what I can do. I've loved acting ever since I was little and I remember joining my first acting company and playing Prince Charming's foot girl in Cinderella. I also remember playing one of the three kings in a school Christmas nativity play.

I've been asked what would be my favourite role to play and I'd quite like to play a superhero! Star Trek was the film that inspired me to take acting classes and the characters in that are kind of like superheroes in my eyes. The X Men cartoon was also a big part of my childhood and I guess that love of comics and superheroes has always stuck with me...one day I know I'll play one...watch this space!

It's been a while since I wrote. I've found myself being really busy this week and haven't had much time for myself. But now I'm taking a moment for myself whilst watching How To Loose Friends And Alienate People...which I'm actually quite enjoying. Another thing I enjoyed earlier was The X Factor when Calvin Harris ran on stage when John and Edward were singing. They ended up not letting him talk on The Xtra Factor which I think is rubbish...he's Calvin Harris, how can they show him the back door?! Do the X Factor people not have a sense of humour? It's taking me ages to write this as I'm really into this film. I think that the characters are great and show some kind of insight into the film industry and what it can do to you and how it can change you...it's also dead funny!

Arctic Monkeys

So I was combing through all of my old photos before I sold my laptop and I came across these pics of the Arctic Monkeys. I saw them in my final year of university. They were playing a secret gig there and I was one of the lucky ones who managed to find out in time and get tickets. I can't think of any thing they've done lately...and who ever supported them never made it big. I think that if you're lucky enough to support a big band (at the time) then you should keep doing everything that you can to reach your dream.

Lazy Day

So today feels like it's a Sunday. I don't plan on leaving the house until I have work tonight, but my day will be spent learning lines for January's pantomime and I've got a few monologues to prepare for my showreel which I need to get on top of. I'm going to try and get my showreel filmed by the end of the month so I need to practice practice practice. So that will be my day! Tonight will be fun though as it's the Dog & Gun's bonfire night. I'll post the pics tomorrow.

Panto Time

I've found out that in next year's pantomime I'm going to be playing the part of Snow White. It's a fairytale with a twist and will include all the classic princesses, a prince, a vampire and some speed dating! The first show will be January 31st in Birmingham.

Halloween 2009

I loved this years Halloween antics in Birmingham. Kyle as a zombie builder, Carl as a vampire (I was totally obsessed with his life like fangs and crazy contacts) and me as...a newly deceased GI Jane...I left my outfit choice to the last minute which wasn't a very good idea but I like to think I made it work! Me and Kyle had a talcum powder fight in the car park which was a fun start to the evening. Next year I will plan my outfit a month before.

Look who it is...

With Calvin Harris and Gok Wan.

Film Set

These are taken from the set of Paul Trigwell's new film Eve's Demons which is released next year. It was great working with Paul Trigwell and I hope to do it again soon. I went to Brighton for the shoot and had a great day on set.

Ramdom Pictures

This was taken last year at a friends BBQ. I had just gotten back from Ibiza that morning after a seven hour delay at the airport! The food and my friends got me through the evening. We were all loving the bug sunglasses look and I'm loving my tan in this pic.

I had thrown my friend a birthday party last year and in this photo I had my hair done by Matthew Charles, a St Trpoez spray tan by a friend, my makeup was done by Mac and I'm wearing Swarovski earings my mum had gotten for me as a present.

This was taken at a Christmas party a couple of years ago...I loved my dress which was from Warehouse's Spotlight Collection it's a dark green sheer material completely covered in rust gold and dark purple sequins.

Double Take Studio

These are proffessional photos I had taken at Double Take Studios in Manchester. Again it was another great day which started with chapagne and a massage follwed by hair and makeup.

Music Video Shoot

These are all still images taken from Dwarnay's new music video Need You In My Bedroom. It's released this month and I will post the full music video once it's out.
It was a long day filming for this but I made some great friends and it was a good experience. However music videos aren't for me...especially ones where you don't get fed! I don't know how some of the girls went all day without eating!

Dwarnay seemed like a really nice person, he was interested in what we all do and made us feel at ease...although I always feel at ease in front of a camera. His dancers were great and they'll be on his tour with him which started last month.

My Birthday

And then came my birthday. The dress is from All Saints and the bead detail is amazing although my photograph doesn't do it justice. It is definately my favourite LBD at the moment and I loved my pink Lancome lipstick that my sister gave to me as a birthday present.

Murder Mystery Party

With the run up to my birthday, I decided to bring some Hollywood glamour to my home and hosted an olden day Las Vegas murder mystery party. I got to play Scarlet O'Dear a Hollywood starlet. I loved the gown and my make up, beauty spot included. I had a great time and thought we all looked fabulous!
